GT 130

Codenamed G94b, the GT 130 supported the same technologies as the GT 120. This is also the last card in the GeForce 100 series to use DDR2 DRAM.

The improvements made to the GT 130 made the card much faster than the GT 120. The fillrate was brought up to 6 GPixels a second and 12 GTextures a second. This increased fillrate helps out the increased amount of VRAM by putting out textures faster.

The biggest improvements made on this card was the amount of memory it had and the amount of CUDA cores. The GT 120 had only 512mb of VRAM but the GT 130 was build to hold 768mb of VRAM. The increased amount of VRAM means that higher resolution textures or more textures can be loaded at one time.
